Horary Point:
Out of the five command points of each channel, the pointof the same element as the channel, is the Horary point. E.g., Wood point of Wood channel GB 41, LIV 1 – or Water point of WaterChannel K 10, UB 66 – or Earth point of Earth Channel SP 3, ST 36. The Horary point is usedto tune up or tune down the channel’s organ, appropriately during its Horarytime (Organ Clock Time). E.g., ST 36 isused to Tonify the Stomach (Digestion) between 7and 8Am. The same point if used between 8 Am and 9 Am,will sedate the Stomach functions.
The time (hour) of needling over these Horary points is ofprime importance. Treating the Horarypoint during the first hour of the Organ’s time results in increasedfunctionality (of its tissues, sense organs and associated organs), andtreating the same point during the second hour results in the reverse.
